Bonus and balance terms

Bonus balance

Promotional funds or restricted winnings shown separately from unrestricted money.

A displayed bonus is not necessarily an amount you can withdraw.

Cash / deposit balance

Money shown outside the bonus balance; the operator’s definitions and account conditions still matter.

Do not assume the combined balance is the currently withdrawable amount.

Contribution

The share of an eligible stake credited toward a wagering requirement.

Example: a ₱100 eligible stake at 10% contribution credits ₱10 toward turnover.

Expiry

The deadline attached to an offer, activation or completion requirement.

Check the date, time zone and which action must be completed by that time.

Free spins

Promotional rounds on specified games, often with a fixed stake and separate conditions.

Check the eligible title, stake per spin, expiry and treatment of any winnings.

Maximum bet

The largest permitted stake under the applicable game or promotional rules.

The game’s allowed stake may exceed a bonus restriction. Read both limits.

Maximum cashout

A cap on withdrawable promotional winnings, if the particular offer imposes one.

It is different from the minimum payment amount or a payment-method withdrawal limit.

Wagering base

The amount to which a wagering multiplier applies.

Illustration: 20× a ₱500 bonus gives ₱10,000. If the stated base also includes a ₱500 deposit, it gives ₱20,000.

Wagering requirement / turnover

The total qualifying stakes required by specified terms; it is not a required profit.

The base, contribution, excluded bets and deadline all affect whether a requirement is met.

Game and result terms

House edge

The theoretical average share of stakes retained by the game under its stated model and assumptions.

Where measured on the same basis, 96% theoretical RTP corresponds to a 4% edge; this is not a session forecast.

Net result

The change after subtracting the stake from the total amount returned for a round.

Illustration: ₱6 returned minus ₱10 staked equals a ₱4 loss, even if the interface celebrates a payout.

Paytable

The game’s explanation of which outcomes pay and how payouts are calculated.

Check whether amounts use credits, currency or a multiplier of a specified stake.

RTP — return to player

A theoretical long-run return for a particular game configuration and model.

A stated 96% does not promise ₱96 back from your next ₱100 or describe your chance of winning a round.

Total stake

The full amount committed to a round, including any selected additional cost.

Compare the total with the displayed credit value; optional features or side bets may cost extra.

Read the related guide →
Volatility

How variable a game’s outcomes can be. Descriptions and rating scales can differ between providers.

“Low volatility” does not guarantee small losses; a losing streak does not make a random round due to pay.

Account access and verification

2FA — two-factor authentication

A sign-in check using two different types of evidence, such as a password and an authenticator code.

Two passwords are not two different factors. Available methods depend on the service.

KYC — know your customer

Checks used to establish customer identity and other requested account information.

Ask what evidence is needed for your specific request; this term does not establish a universal document list.

OTP — one-time password or passcode

A code intended for a single authentication action, often subject to an expiry.

An SMS code and a device-generated authenticator code are not interchangeable. Never send either to a person offering help.

Recovery code

A backup credential provided by some services to regain access when the usual authentication method is unavailable.

Keep it private and follow that service’s instructions. This guide does not verify that your account offers recovery codes.

Payment statuses and records

Status labels are not standardized across all services. These are reading aids, not a promise of a deadline or outcome.

Approved / processed

A status indicating that the reporting system has completed a stated stage, whose scope must be checked.

An operator’s processed status alone does not prove the recipient bank or wallet has credited the funds.

Read the related guide →
Pending

A status indicating that the reporting system has not completed the relevant stage.

Record whether it appears with the operator or payment provider; the label alone supplies no deadline.

Read the related guide →
Rejected / declined

A status indicating that a request was not accepted or could not proceed at that stage.

Read the reason and check whether any debit was reversed before submitting another request.

Read the related guide →
Reversal / refund

An entry that undoes or returns a previous debit; the exact labels and timing vary by system.

Match it to the original transaction and confirm where the money was credited. A promise is not a posted credit.

Read the related guide →
Transaction reference

An identifier used to locate a specific payment or account entry.

The provider receipt, operator transaction and support case may have different identifiers; preserve each with its source.

How to use these definitions

The linked UK Gambling Commission and FTC resources explain general concepts. They do not establish Philippine law, operator licensing or your account’s current conditions. We have not tested a PH account, payment or game for this glossary. For a conflicting term, preserve its exact wording and check the contact route and ask support which condition applies.
